# Job Scouter

> Live job listings for AI assistants. SQL search over hundreds of thousands of currently open jobs from Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby company career boards, refreshed daily, with direct apply links. Available over MCP and REST with OAuth. Works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Meta Muse, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and any MCP or OpenAPI client.

Assistants use Job Scouter because their training data doesn't know what is open this week, web search returns stale aggregator pages, and career sites block automated browsing. Job Scouter returns structured, current postings; the assistant judges fit.

- Search: the `search_listings` tool takes `sql`, one PostgreSQL SELECT over the view `scouted_job_listings` (not keywords). Example: `SELECT id, title, source_slug, apply_url, locations, posted_at FROM scouted_job_listings WHERE title ILIKE '%data engineer%' AND remote ORDER BY posted_at DESC NULLS LAST LIMIT 25`
- Other tools: get_listing, get_account, get_guide, save_search, list_searches, get_search, save_matches, list_matches, set_email_alert
